Russian consumer group challenges order to destroy sanctioned food
MOSCOW, Aug 13 (PRIME) -- The Society for the Protection of Consumers' Rights, known as OZPP, has challenged in a Supreme Court a ruling signed by President Vladimir Putin ordering to destroy food illegally imported to Russia from countries whose imports had been banned, it said in a statement on Thursday.
In July, the government approved an order to destroy sanctioned food on the border, which came in force from August 6.
